Entrepreneurship: Necessity or Opportunity?
Entrepreneurship, in its most essential form, is an act of care—for the present, for those who came before us, and for what is yet to come. This panel invites participants to return to the beginning: before strategy and business models, there is always a need, a desire, or an urgency to survive. The line between necessity-driven and opportunity-driven entrepreneurship is far thinner than it may seem. More often than not, they are the same driving force, simply described in different ways. It is a signal that, before any planning begins, points to where our energy is meant to go. From this perspective, entrepreneurship is about learning to recognize that signal—and having the courage to follow it.
