Totó Parente
Totó Parente is the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy for the City of São Paulo, with a distinguished career in the public sector. He began his public service as special advisor to the Governor of Mato Grosso (1987-1990) and in the Federal Senate (1995-2000). He served as city councilor in Cuiabá (2000-2004), presiding over the Economics and Finance Committee and serving as municipal budget rapporteur. In 2007, he became National Secretary for the Development of the Central-West Region and the Constitutional Fund of the Central-West. Totó also served as director and substitute president of Embratur (2016), National Secretary of Tourism Structuring at the Ministry of Tourism (2017-2018).
