Sofia Gayoso

Sofia Gayoso is a singer, songwriter, and actress from Paraíba, born in Campina Grande and based in São Paulo. She left law practice for music during the pandemic and has since been building a career marked by the strength of authorial northeastern music in dialogue with pop and MPB, bringing her forró roots and other regional influences to her sound. She has performed on stages such as the opening of The Town on Paulista Avenue, Rio 2C, and the main stage of São João de Campina Grande. Additionally, as the creator of the Nordeste in Jazz project, she has taken this show to venues like Bourbon Street and Jazz Mansion.
