silvio meira (taperoá, pb, 2/2/55) is an electronic engineer from ita ['77], holds a master's degree in computer science from ufpe ['81] and a phd in computing from the university of kent at canterbury, uk ['85]. he is one of the founders and chief scientist at tds.company. he is an extraordinary professor at cesar.school, distinguished research fellow at asia school of business, professor emeritus at cin.ufpe.br and one of the founders of porto digital, where he chairs the board of directors.
