Samuel Barrêto

Samuel Barrêto is a biologist with a master's degree in Sustainability and a specialist in water security and water governance. He is an associate researcher at the Water Observatory, columnist for Um Só Planeta, guest professor in master's programs at PUC-Rio and UFSCar, and consultant to MIDR. He has worked in organizations such as SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation, TNC, and WWF-Brazil in executive positions with initiatives in watershed restoration and revitalization, Nature-Based Solutions in urban and rural areas, productive inclusion, and economic instruments. He works at the interface between science, public policy, the private sector, and civil society.
