Salomão

Salomão Soares presents "Balançado", a new show in trio formation alongside Ivan Castro (drums) and Carlinhos Noronha (double bass). The repertoire features Salomão's original compositions, classics by João Donato and Chico Buarque, as well as other essential pieces from Brazilian music — all reimagined through the trio's instrumental lens.

With a sound that dialogues with samba-jazz, the Brazilian pianistic tradition and a sharp collective listening, Balançado proposes reinterpretations that respect the songs' roots while opening space for improvisation, groove and instrumental narrative — an invitation to be carried away by the swing of Brazilian music.
