Is There Life After the Badge?
For decades, the badge was more than an object: it was identity, belonging, and a measure of value. What happens when it ceases to exist? This panel discusses how women who have lived through an intense corporate trajectory are preparing for the second stage of their professional lives, now called portfolio career. Instead of a single position, a combination of fronts: boards, mentorships, entrepreneurship, authorial projects. Instead of retirement, reinvention. The conversation brings together three women who have made this crossing in different fields and discusses what it requires in practice. How does one plan financially and emotionally to leave the C-level? What is lost and what is gained when the name is no longer accompanied by a logo? What skills built in executive life convert into capital for a life of one's own authorship? Life after the badge does not begin on the last day of work. It begins much earlier.
