Paulo Saldiva
Full Professor of Pathology at FMUSP, Paulo Saldiva has been studying the impacts of air pollution, climate, and fires on human health for over 35 years. A member of ANM, ABC, and TWAS, he is part of the Urban Health Working Group of the InterAcademy Partnership and coordinates the seminar "Health and Climate" at the Climate & Sustainability Chair of IEA-USP. He also integrates the coordination of FAPESP's Public Policy Research Program and serves as a mentor at MedEnsina. He was director of IEA-USP and has received distinctions such as the Order of Scientific Merit and the Anchieta Medal.
