Marilia Garcez is Director of Circular Economy, Communications and Sustainability at Orizon Waste Valorization, one of Latin America’s leading waste valorization and circular economy companies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from FAAP and an MBA in Digital Transformation and the Future of Business from PUCRS. She coordinated the privatization of Eletrobras, the largest privatization ever carried out in the Brazilian capital markets. As Director at InvestSP, she led the development of the State of São Paulo’s Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Industrial Value Chain Development Plan. She also served as Secretary for Divestment and Privatization at Brazil’s Ministry of Economy
