Lucia Santaella

Lucia Santaella is a CNPq 1A researcher, full professor in the graduate programs in Communication and Semiotics and in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design (PUCSP). She holds a PhD in Literary Theory from PUCSP and a habilitation in Communication Sciences from USP. She completed twelve postdoctoral fellowships abroad and was a visiting professor and researcher at several European and Latin American universities. She has supervised 298 master's and doctoral candidates to defense. She published 58 books and edited 35, in addition to over 500 articles in Brazil and abroad. She received the Jabuti awards (2002, 2009, 2011, 2014), the Sergio Motta award (2005), the Luiz Beltrão award (2010).
