Letícia Vidica
Letícia Vidica is a journalist, reporter, writer, speaker, entrepreneur and content creator, with almost 20 years of experience in Brazilian communication. Currently, she is an entertainment reporter for TV Globo, working on the network's morning shows. Throughout her career, she has worked for outlets such as CNN Brasil, SBT and RedeTV!, in reporting, production, hosting and editorial management. At CNN Brasil, she conceived and led the diversity and inclusion project CNN Plural, a multiplatform initiative aimed at expanding representativeness in journalism. She is the author of the book Mulheres Solteiras não são de Marte, co-author of Maria: A Glória do Brasil and is part of the collective
Decolonizing Entrepreneurship
This panel proposes to question the hegemonic models of success inherited from a colonial, competitive and extractivist logic that still influences our ways of producing, leading and organizing work. Starting from the recognition that we were an exploitation colony and that this history shaped inequalities, labor relations and economic structures, the panel invites reflection on how to incorporate indigenous, local and community perspectives in building new business models. By valuing traditional knowledge, solidarity economies and ties to the territory, it seeks to expand the concept of prosperity beyond profit, aligning impact and dignity. Entrepreneurship, in this sense, is decolonizing: transforming historical legacies into more plural, just and unprecedented futures.
