Leston is an artist, musician, and developer based in São Paulo who uses technology to explore the often frictional relationship between sound and image. In his practice, programming is not merely a tool but a language in itself: code exists not only to execute a preexisting idea, but to build a system and observe what emerges from it.
Materiality, form, and audience experience are central to his research, whether investigating how light propagates through space, how sound affects our bodies, or what it means for something to be “live.”
