Leandro Pardí
He worked for 15 years at the Brazilian Cinematheque where he was responsible for managing the film distribution sector, supervising audience development projects for Brazilian cinema and institutional curation. In 2009 and 2010 he also worked in the commercial production of the São Paulo International Film Festival, was a communications consultant for the Latin American Film Festival of São Paulo and producer of Cine Human Rights organized by the São Paulo Municipal Secretariat of Human Rights and Citizenship. In 2021 he began coordinating Spcine's Film Clubs project and currently serves as Superintendent of Innovation and Creative Business at Spcine.
Culture that Transforms Territories: Creativity, Innovation and Urban Development
The panel will discuss how public cultural policies can promote territorial development, social inclusion, innovation in public management, and strengthening of the creative economy. Based on the experience of São Paulo, the discussion will address advances in funding policies, from the Aldir Blanc Law to PNAB, the regional distribution of resources, and the role of Culture Houses and cultural facilities in democratizing access, community participation, valorization of peripheral cultures, and audience development. The debate will also highlight experiences in cultural management, audiovisual, and development of creative businesses.
