Ser’Tão is the artistic name of Júlia Maria Maranhão Nogueira, a visual artist, designer, and art director from Alagoas, Brazil. For over 15 years, she has developed an original body of research inspired by Brazilian folk culture and the symbolic universe of the sertão, transforming memory, ancestry, and identity into works that move across painting, objects, fashion, and design. Her work has been featured in exhibitions, collaborations with leading brands, and major projects in Brazil and abroad, establishing a contemporary artistic language deeply rooted in the cultures of Northeastern Brazil.
