JE Kos
Designer and multimedia artist, JE Kos uses generative artificial intelligence as a central tool for creating unique, sophisticated, and impactful visual experiences. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a reference in authorial design, already signing visual identities such as those of RIOFW and the FFW Fashion Awards, in addition to an exhibition at Shining Hat, in Osaka, marking her presence in the fashion and design universe internationally. Adopted by a family from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, JE carries this unique experience as an essential part of her creative outlook, present in works that explore themes such as change, nature in transformation, and the power of femininity.
I'm Still Here: Talent Beyond the Hype
Not every innovation survives the test of time. Since 2020, the creative market has gone through cycles of enthusiasm around the metaverse, NFTs, blockchain and, more recently, artificial intelligence. In this conversation, multidisciplinary artist Je Kos and artist, musician and developer Matheus Leston revisit their trajectories alongside Olivia Merquior, BRIFW curator, to reflect on what remains when the hype passes. Drawing from BRIFW's seven years and the evolution of their own careers, the panel discusses how new technologies have shifted from being a trend to becoming creative tools, and what paths are emerging for the future of the creative economy.
