Edi Rock is one of the greatest icons of Brazilian rap. He is known primarily for being one of the founding members of Racionais MC's, the most influential hip-hop group in Brazil. Born in São Paulo and raised in the North Zone, in the Jaçanã neighborhood, his trajectory of over four decades helped shape the identity of the peripheries in the music scene.
