Demi Getschko
An electrical engineer from Poli-USP and PhD in Engineering, Demi Getschko is CEO of NIC.br, member of the CGI.br board, and associate professor at PUC-SP. He was a member of ICANN's board representing ccNSO and is a founding member of ISOC Brazil, where he served as vice president. In 2014, he became the first Brazilian elected to the Internet Hall of Fame in the Global Connectors category and received the Cristina Tavares Award from the Brazilian Computer Society. In 2016, he was admitted to the Order of Merit of Communications as an Officer. He is editor-in-chief of .br Magazine and columnist for Estadão.
