Carolina Gold is a fashion designer and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. Throughout her career, she has worked as a costume designer for advertising, theater, and film, as well as in fashion production, style consulting, and styling for magazines and runway shows. In 2005, she co-founded the fashion label Amapô with her business partner, Pitty Taliani, where she continues to serve as creative director and co-owner. The brand became widely recognized for its extravagant São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW) shows and its outstanding work in denim, establishing itself as a leading reference in the contemporary Brazilian fashion scene.

From fashion to algorithms, from the beauty industry to healthcare systems, different sectors shape the way we view identity, beauty, performance and care. While the market develops products, services and narratives for increasingly diverse audiences, science and medicine still face the challenge of overcoming historical gaps in representation. The panel discusses how technology, innovation and new business models can expand inclusion and belonging, without reducing diverse bodies — such as those of trans women and other identities — to consumer categories or aesthetic standards.
