Opening Night with Esther Perel: Beyond Business - The Human Act of Building the Future
[Programming EXCLUSIVELY for Platinum Credential] To undertake, in its origin, means to take upon oneself. Before being the creation of a business, it is the decision to act, assume responsibility and set ideas in motion. It is from this understanding that SP2B is born. We believe that entrepreneurship does not belong only to company founders, but to all who choose to transform the reality around them — and this transformation is the practical result of innovation, which requires two inseparable conditions: creativity to imagine the new and courage to transform it into action. In the inaugural edition, Yuval Harari reminded us that a sustainable future depends on rebuilding trust among people. In this opening session, we continue this reflection with Esther Perel, one of the world's leading references in human relations, to explore what sustains this entire journey: our capacity to create bonds, face conflicts and build together. Alongside Esther, Alice Braga brings a unique perspective. Her trajectory represents an entrepreneurship that goes beyond business: the courage to cross borders, reinvent herself in new contexts and demonstrate that identity, creativity and authenticity are also forces capable of transforming the world. In an era when artificial intelligence democratizes access to information and expands our technical capacity, the human differential becomes even more valuable. How to preserve imagination under pressure? How to transform differences into collaboration? How to build relationships that sustain ambitious projects? More than a conversation about business, this session inaugurates SP2B 2026 with a reflection on what drives all innovation: people who choose to act, relationships that sustain this journey and the courage to build, together, a future that does not yet exist.
